Translation:So, O Prophet, go on admonishing (them). By the grace of your Lord, you are neither a soothsayer nor mad. |

Translation:Do they say, "He is a poet for whom we are awaiting the adverse turn of fortune?" then, " |

Translation:Yes, wait; I too shall wait with you." |

Translation:Do their minds command them to do so, or, are they a people who have transgressed all limits? |

Translation:Do they say, "This man himself has forged this Qur'an" The fact is that they do not want to believe. |

Translation:Let them then produce a discourse like it, if they are true in what they say. |

Translation:Have they been created without a Creator? Or, are they their own creators? |

Translation:Or, have they created the heavens and the earth? The fact is that they lack faith. |

Translation:Do they possess the treasures of your Lord? Or, is it they who control them? |

Translation:Do they have a ladder by climbing which they overhear what goes on in heavens? Then let any of them who has overheard bring a clear proof. |

Translation:Is Allah to have daughters and you sons? |

Translation:Do you ask them for any rewards that they are weighed down under a load of debt? |

Translation:Do they have the knowledge of the unseen realities whereby they may be writing down? |

Translation:Do they intend to devise a plot? (If so,) the plot shall recoil upon the disbelieves themselves. |

Translation:Do they have a god other than Allah? Exalted is Allah above what they associate with Him. |

Translation:Even if they saw fragments of the sky falling down, they would say, "this is a mass of clouds advancing." |

Translation:Therefore, O Prophet, leave them to themselves till they meet that Day of theirs wherein they shall be struck down, |

Translation:the Day when neither shall their own plotting avail them anything nor shall anyone else come to their rescue. |

Translation:And even before that there awaits the wrongdoers another torment, but most of them do not know. |

Translation:Endure patiently, O Prophet, until your Lord's judgment comes to pass sight. Glorify your Lord with His praise when you rise up, |

Translation:and glorify Him in the night too, and also at the retreat of the stars. |
